THE HOVIS ARTS AWARD

Goshen County High School seniors are eligible for two $500 Hovis Arts Awards that will be awarded by Goshen Community Theatre this year. YOU might be one of the two seniors who receive this award IF…

You are a senior in good academic standing.


You are outstanding in one or more of the fine arts (art, dance instrumental music, vocal music, theatre).


You plan to pursue higher education after high school.


You obtain an information sheet and an application from your high school guidance counselor soon.


You read the information sheet carefully and call if you need more information or clarification of the regulations.


You meet the March 1 deadline for submitting your completed application form and an academic transcript.


By May 1 you submit three (3) samples which highlight your excellence in one or more areas in the fine arts.


You exhibit by the superior quality of your application and your samples that you are highly qualified to be considered for one of the awards.
